Design

Thompson Heat Transfer Kft was established in 2008. We design heat exchangers and cooling systems and are known for our wide range of equipment in the power, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and pulp and paper industries. Our solutions are based on a deep understanding of your requirements, providing you with the highest quality heat transfer products at the most attractive prices.

Our engineering team ensures that all plans comply with relevant standards and regulations. We are your partner from start to finish, ensuring every aspect of your project is completed to perfection.

Thompson Heat Transfer’s design capabilities include Thermal Calculations, Mechanical Calculations and Air Flow Calculations. Applicable codes and standards include AS1200, AS1210, AS1170, AS1554, AS1665, AS3992, AS4037, AS4458, ASME Section VIII. Div 1, ASME Section 1, API, TEMA.

Our company uses the latest engineering software, such as HTRI's Xchanger Suite, PV Elite and FEA modeling. All exchangers are modeled in Solidworks so we can provide you with PDF drawings, 2D drawings or 3D models so you can design your system accordingly.

Our manufacturing has two main activities; custom built heat exchangers and cooling systems and pre-engineered standard products, such as plate, tube and coil heat exchangers

At Thompson Heat Transfer, we typically build cooling systems that we have designed for our customers. However, we are also often asked by customers to build from existing drawings or are asked to come to the job site and draw up an existing heat exchanger for fabrication.

We clean, repair and rebuild all heat exchangers

Thompson Heat Transfer is here to help you with your existing heat exchanger needs and can help you with all your maintenance, replacement and cleaning needs. We can come to your site and carry out the heat exchanger maintenance work to your specifications or you can send your heat exchanger to us so we can carry out the work in our workshop.
